With every job you get free colour advice from Marloes. She comes round with a fan deck, looks at the light, the brickwork and the houses next door, and puts test swatches on your wall or window frame.
How colour advice works
A colour on a fan deck is a different colour on your wall. The north light in a narrow street makes everything cooler, a south-facing room on the Singel makes it warmer. That is why we never choose from a book alone.

- A4 test swatches on the spot, left up for a few days

Classic colours for Leiden facades
In the city centre almost every canal has a listed building. There we first look at what was on it historically. Often it is one of the combinations below, and they still work.

Off-white on the window frames, canal green on the front door and shutters. Suits almost any red or brown brick.
